Fouzi Ould Bouamama Koh Lanta Kedge BS

Who is Fouzi Ould Bouamama candidate for Koh Lanta, the cursed totem?

The new season of Koh-Lanta, the cursed totem, began this Tuesday, February 22. On the bill, we find Fouzi Ould Bouamama, KEDGE BS alumni, graduate of the Grande École Program. Focus on his journey.

Koh Lanta, for people who have never followed this show, is an adventure and survival game broadcast on TF1 for over twenty years. The show has been presented since 2002 by Denis Brogniart. The program is animated by a large number of challenges to be faced by candidates present on a desert island. The objective is to preserve their place until the final. To decide between the different participants, numerous tests punctuate each episode and the candidates make the decision to eliminate one of their comrades, until there are only five left. These survivors then decide on two emblematic tests: orientation and poles, before the final vote.

Koh Lanta 2022: an Algerian audience is added to the counter with the presence of Fouzi Bouamama

The show records significant audiences each season in France, but also abroad. This year, North African viewers will most likely be present in force, given that Algerian Fouzi Ould Bouamama, a KEDGE BS graduate, will participate alongside the 24 other candidates.

The program describes the young candidate as “ ultra positive. This allowed him to overcome the sorrows of life, notably the loss of his mother. Since then he has only one goal, to bring a smile to his family.” He also revealed that his participation was particularly close to his heart, given that it was his mother’s dream and that he wants to make it come true at all costs, regardless of the difficulty of the tests or the mental load.

Fouzi Ould Bouamama had a brilliant academic career. Avid for travel, but also passionate about numbers, his professional background says a lot about his personality and his adventurous and dynamic side.

He did two years of preparatory class for the Grandes Écoles in the ECS sector and then joined KEDGE BS, within the Grande École Program, where he specialized in finance. He thus took courses in Corporate finance, compatibility, auditing, tax law, etc. They helped him enormously throughout his career as a financial auditor, but also in his job as CFO.

Graduating in 2014, he began his professional career at Cheese and More, an agri-food company based in San Francisco as Administrative and Financial Manager. In March 2015, he joined the prestigious audit and consulting firm, EY, as a financial auditor. As such, his mission was the financial audit of companies in different sectors (industry, media, real estate, commerce, etc.), the examination and analysis of entries and exits from bank statements, inventories , expenses and other accounting and financial documents, to ensure the accuracy of financial records and their compliance with national and international legal standards.

Three years later, Fouzi Ould Bouamama completely changed country (and incidentally sector) and launched into M&A at Amaris (Mantu), a firm established in 60 countries and notably in South Africa, where our young adventurer goes. He was particularly responsible for the administrative and financial management of the companies integrated into the group and also provided digital transformation consulting.
