Find out everything about Teamoty!

What is Teamoty?

Teamoty is a software publisher specializing in the world of construction. Originally, the company was a JV between 2 companies, IMMA and Carte Blanche Conseil. The first specialist in Lean Construction and the second specialized in urban transport consulting. At the end of 2017, the meeting took place between Fabien Font (founder of IMMA and current CEO Teamoty), Nicolas Baudard (current CEO of Imma), Olivier Lemettais (CTO of CBC and current CTO at Teamoty) and Peter Rapp (CEO of CBC) on the Saint-Gobain tower construction site.

The 4 decide to give as many people as possible the lean approach and allow the establishment of a coordinated and collaborative supply chain to integrate all the players in the construction value chain. To carry out this project, it remains to find one last skill in the team, namely the ability to implement digital solutions in the field. This will be brought by the last co-founder, Adrien POURRETwhich for more than 10 years has been implementing ERP (SAP type) in all types of sectors.

Today out of the 5 founders, 3 are operational:

  • Fabien FONT, CEO, ENSAM engineer and author of the book: “Lean construction”
  • Olivier LEMETTAIS, CTO, ENSMM Engineer
  • Adrien POURRET, COO, License
  • One is Board Member: Nicolas BAUDARD, ESTP engineer (DG IMMA)
  • One is on the advisory board with the 4 others: PETER RAPP, Doctor of Sciences (CEO CBC)

What does Teamoty do?

The starting point of our approach is that on the one hand 80% of construction projects are off time and off budget; and on the other hand, business productivity is stagnant with very low profitability (Ebida 2%). Our approach is therefore holistic. It aims to enable stakeholders to improve the overall performance of projects, because we believe that the individual performance of construction companies (Productivity) is directly induced by the collective performance of construction sites. Improving performance is therefore our mission for the good of all.

Finally, the vision of the supply chain allows both the actors to collaborate at each stage, but also to coordinate all the stages between them. Our software suite already covers all of these steps.

Regarding the savings in working time, there are numerous:

  • A planner can save 2 or 3 days of work with each version or simulation of a schedule.
  • A works manager can save 1 day per week in monitoring the schedule
  • A works manager can save 0.5 days per week in collecting delivery information from site companies…Etc.

Our customers can therefore reduce with our tools that support the Lean and supplychain approach:

  • Secure or reduce their deadlines: 30%
  • Saving precious time for overworked employees, while modernizing work: several days of work per month or week, but above all making the profession attractive to younger generations
  • 100% sorting of construction site waste
