- With the continuing increase in investment by multinational companies and the rise in world trade, globalisation brings more and more people into direct contact with the global economy through their workplace.
- At the United Nations, at the IMF and World Bank and wherever else economic policies are debated, the ICFTU regularly provides analysis and critiques. The ICFTU's policies on globalisation and economic affairs aim to show alternatives which can provide a new, higher-growth and higher-employment path for sustainable development.
