Child Labour
Global Unions Campaign: Get involved to stop child labour
  • Over 250 million child labourers are being exploited for profit or are forced to work in order to survive. Whole generations of children are being deprived of the chance to take their rightful place in the society and economy of the 21st Century. If recruitment of new child workers ends now, child labour will disappear in a decade.
  • The ICFTU has launched a worldwide campaign to stop child labour. To make this campaign work, you and your union need to be actively involved. Here are some ways you can support the campaign.

Talking point: Wouldn't the abolition of child labour have a negative effect on those who rely on the income to survive?
